I first reached out to Brandon & Sarah 6 years ago, and life happened that I didn't purchase a home until recently, but they were very supportive throughout the years. Happily purchased a desired property with Brandon & Sarah.

I would not recommend Brandon Arlington. I went to his listing today and he was standing outside at a table with the sign-in sheet and aggressively pushed it at me, with the implication being that I could not enter the open house without first signin...

Response from Brandon Arlington on 4/21/2024

We are sincerely sorry to hear about any negative experience at one of our open houses. Our goal is always to ensure that every visitor has an informative and professional interaction with us. While we don't have a record of your visit, we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns and shed light on our procedures. When guests arrive at our open houses, we warmly welcome them and express gratitude for their interest. We introduce ourselves and provide informational packets and photo booklets for a comprehensive understanding of the property. Our request for guests to sign in is a standard practice for several reasons, none of which are aimed at building an outbound email marketing list, as suggested in your review. 1. Homeowner Expectations: When homeowners open their homes for public viewing, they rightfully expect a detailed record of who visited and when. This information helps us provide accurate feedback and insights to the homeowner regarding the activity during the open house. 2. Security and Accountability: In cases where the property is vacant or the homeowner is not present, knowing who has accessed the property is crucial for security reasons and for providing relevant information to authorities if necessary. 3. Legal and Trust Obligations: Some properties are sold under trusts, and detailed tracking of visitors is essential for legal and trust-related reasons. This includes scenarios where the property is owned by a trust and the trustee, often represented by an attorney, must oversee the sale process diligently. The trustee's responsibilities include maintaining records of all property visits, open house attendance, and offers received. Additionally, beneficiaries of trusts have legal counsel who closely monitor the sales process. Detailed visitor logs and activity reports are necessary to demonstrate compliance with legal and fiduciary duties, ensuring that the trustee and all involved parties act in the best interests of the trust and its beneficiaries. We completely respect guests' privacy concerns, and we handle requests not to be contacted with utmost care. Guests who express such preferences are marked accordingly, and we honor their wishes. Our aim is to build positive relationships with our community and provide valuable information while safeguarding the interests of our sellers. We assure you that we never engage in aggressive or rude behavior towards guests. We appreciate your feedback and hope you reconsider your review, as we are committed to professionalism and ensuring a positive experience for all our guests. We wish you success in your home search endeavors and remain available for any further inquiries or assistance. Best regards, Brandon & Sarah Arlington Rooster Homes
